On July 12,  from China Commodities City Group that currently the enrollment work of 2010 the 16th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair has been started officially, with the theme of Serve China with Global concentration. China Yiwu International Commodities Fair is a international daily consuming goods fair approved by the State Council, which is hosted by State Commerce Department and Zhejiang Government. It is held in October in Yiwu every year, having over 5000 international standard exhibition booths and covering an area of 120,000 square meters, which is the biggest national commodities fair in scale.

Yiwu Fair covers the industries of office articles, sports and entertainment goods, toys, knitting materials, zippers, clothes and shoes, arts and crafts, artistic decorations goods, articles for daily use, fashionable ornaments, cosmetics, bags and belts, hardware, electronic and electrical appliances, auto products and service trade.

Foreign purchasers in Yiwu Fair

Onccc learnt that there will be some innovation in enrollment work of 2010 Yiwu Fair. Exhibitors can apply online and foreign attendants can enroll through overseas internet promotion, which has great attraction to both domestic enterprises and foreign purchasers. Till July 9, there have already been 178 enterprises applied and about 400 foreign purchasers made appointments.

It is learnt that 2010 Yiwu Fair will further expand the promotion works in East Europe, UAE, India, Russia, Brazil, etc. on the basis of maintaining professional purchasers in Middle East and Africa. Taking the advantages of Canton Fair and Hong Kong Fair in October, Yiwu Fair will further increase its brand awareness.
