Amazon Prime Day Carnival, HTC also launched HTC Vive Pro exclusive offer to provide customers with $100 gift cards.
Amazon Prime customers buy HTC Vive Pro for $799, and they will receive two gift cards, $50 Amazon Gift Cards and $50 Viveport gift cards. As an additional service, customers will also receive two months free Viveport subscription.
Vive Pro is the latest HTC headway for HTC. Major improvements include double OLED displays, 1440 x 1600 pixels per eye, a total of 2880 x 1600 pixels, better visual effect, improved weight distribution, an increased surface area of 24%, a built-in Deluxe Audio Headstrap, plus a better ergonomics design.
In addition to the gift card transaction, Viveport also announced a new partnership with Amazon so that customers can buy Viveport products directly through online retailers. The plan not only helps attract more customers, but also provides developers with another way to monetise content. The new partnership supports Viveport's mission, that is, to provide developers with the biggest way to monetize their content and attract new customers. However, the discount only applies to basic Vive Pro devices, and SteamVR 2 suite does not appear in Amazon America.
