Currently, Yiwu State Commodities Quality Quarantine Center firstly adopted the zipper industrial union standards to make quarantine and inspection over 31 batches of zipper products, which will enter the EU market after the quarantine.

Onccc knows from the Yiwu Quality Inspection Bureau that the union standards were passed on August 12, 2009, which is the first industrial standard of zipper in China. It widely adopts the advantages of these similar standards of Germany, Japan, the U.S., etc. Moreover, it also improve the requirement of environment protection, biology and safety.

It is learnt that because some developed countries all launched new requirements and standards over commodity import, especially over commodities made in China. To take an example, Yiwu zipper products are having wider and wider market internationally, as well as various wider and wider technical and trade barriers. It is necessary to make a new standard and put into practical use.
