NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- If you get gift cards to stores you don't shop at or like, there's now a way to get cash for that card.

"You take out the gift card you want to sell, like I've got this one from Macy's for $100," said Adam Kuperstein of Miramar, Fla. "Then you go to the Web site. You enter in the merchant, Macy's, the value, $100, and click 'Get Offer.' And right away, it shows you how much money they'll give you in cash -- in this case, $80. Not bad."

 

The most popular ones are for Target and Walmart and pay out the most money.

 

Eventually gift cards will be able to be traded.

 

Gift cards with an expiration date or fee can't be bought or sold.
