The signing ceremony of 2011 Shoton Festival's Trading Programs is held in Lhasa, August, 30.

57 successful trade-cooperation programs will contribute a total of about 11.1 billion yuan to Tibet, news from the signing ceremony.

The 57 signed business span from agriculture products processing, mining exploration, tourism, Tibetan medicine, new energy and logistics sectors, among which 34 are from the second industry, with total investment of 8.653 billion yuan. Deputy Mayor of Lhasa Duan Faoxing gave the details.

"It will play an active role in upgrading Lhasa’s industrial structure and economy progress", Duan added.
