Recently, the Yiwu Municipal Administration of Landscape & Tourism held a plaque-awarding ceremony for those units who were firstly honored “Star-IV Travel Agency”, symbolizing Yiwu travel agency sector achieved a new breakthrough in the brand cultivation.
　　Pursuant to Zhejiang Province’s travel agency quality classification and rating criteria, the total rating score hits 1000 credits, which are distributed in eight appraisal systems like basic indexes, management quality, hardware, and technology. After being scored and examined, four Yiwu-based travel agencies like Hengfeng, Huaxia, Golden Autumn Holidy, and Shunfeng met preceding standards.
　　“After being rated as star level, the travel agency is bound to improve its quality by better services, which will play an active role in improving Yiwu City’s tourism service quality, and promoting tourism enterprises’ transformation and upgrade”, a manager of the Yiwu Municipal Administration of Landscape & Tourism was quoted as saying.
　　After the rating, star-level travel agencies shall experience the secondary examination. In the event that the travel agency incurs serious responsible accident and accordingly results in adverse influence, it will receive penalties like rectification within a fixed period and star level reduction or abolition. As for those travel agencies suffering star level reduction or abolition, they shall not take part in the star level rating within one year.
