On April 20th, the opening ceremony of 2011 Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair was held in Yiwu International Expo Center. Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair was first sponsored by the Ministry of Culture in 2006 and has been successfully hosted yearly ever since. Five years of development, Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair has succeeded in turning into the well known international cultural fair and the only foreign trade oriented fair for cultural products in China.

By sticking to the principle of  "improvement of cultural content; enhancement in cultural industry" and themed by building the platform of trading cultural products, the 3000 standard booths in 8 halls of Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair 2011 attracted exhibitors from 26 provinces throughout China and 14 countries and regions all over the world. 5 halls in the first floor mainly cover industries of professional printing, packing, stationery and sports, frame crafts, creative cultural products, and toys, while the 3 halls in the second floor for Chinese characteristic exhibitions and China intangible cultural heritage treasures.

During the fair, activities such as Yiwu Peasant Painting Competition, the third Zhejiang China Intangible Cultural Heritage Boutique Exhibition, College Students' Creative Achievements Exhibition and Forum of sustainable packaging and small and medium-sized enterprise development will be held.
